I just love the power of the internet! Today with the help of online friends I managed to identify a very pretty plant in our garden (more here). Pictured is the illusive Tulipia tarda, a lovely dwarf tulip species. Now I can move on to identifying a few other plant species lurking in my garden. There are several simply because the previous owner kept planting and planting and planting. That means we are onto year two of ripping out plants that never should have been planted in the first place.
