Recent terrorist events have resulted in increased airport security. It is nice to see that Transport Canada has increased security at Canadian airports as well with the introduction of new body scanning technology that sees right through your clothing. There is the remote chance or given the level of technology now available that the resulting graphical image of a person's naked body could somehow make in online to sites such as Facebook. Now, even though Transport Canada is saying this won't happen and the images will be kept for a short period of time Surely this is contrary to Canada's Privacy Act but the general premise has been to get the scanners in place and active then worry about privacy issues later.
